Job Purpose: The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government is looking for a qualified and competent individual to manage all administrative processes and functions at the Gene Louw College in Brackenfell. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the staff and students at the college.
Key Performance Areas: Manage the facilities at Gene Louw College for optimal use; facilitate provisioning processes; provide logistical support to the Directorate; manage official transport for the College; oversee state assets at the College; ensure reparations of equipment and facilities are completed as needed; manage cleaning and pest control of college facilities and premises; manage all administrative processes at the college; supervise staff and assist with allocated financial processes.
Minimum Requirements | An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degreeor higher); Minimum of 3 years relevant supervisory experience. |
Recommendation | Experience in the following: Administration; Financial administration. |
Competencies: The ideal candidate should have knowledge of basic accounting systems and logistical information systems, as well as relevant legislation and procedures regarding personnel and administration. They should also have strong management, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Finally, they should be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Remuneration
R 331 188 per annum (Salary Level 8)
