The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) is searching for adolescence from a range of communities with appropriate skills to enter into the education closer to obtaining the Further Education and Training
(FET) Certificate in Corrections Services Learnership (NQF Level 4).
The inexperienced persons will be educated in the areas of rehabilitation of offenders thru correction and human improvement in a secure, protected and humane detention or underneath the neighborhood based totally correctional supervision.

English will be used as the medium of instruction. Enrolment in the learnership does now not warranty everlasting employment in the Department.

NOTE : Complete the Corrections Learnership application form 2022/23. The
application form can be obtained at the nearest Management Area/Community
Corrections/Correctional Centres/ Regional Offices and/or Head Office
Use the correct reference
number for the management area to which you are applying in the applicable
block on the application form. The reference numbers are indicated further
below.
Attach copies of your qualifications and identity document. Only
shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of
qualifications and identity document.
No late, incomplete or unsigned
application forms shall be accepted. Furthermore, photocopies of completed
forms, faxed or e-mailed applications shall not be accepted.
