Responsibilities:
Training and Development: Take part in a comprehensive learnership program that aims to provide theoretical knowledge and practical experience in truck driving techniques, safety regulations, vehicle maintenance, and customer service skills.
Operational Support: Assist experienced drivers in safely operating company vehicles, including loading and unloading goods, sticking to delivery schedules, and following established routes for timely and efficient deliveries.
Vehicle Maintenance: Learn basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as conducting pre-trip inspections, checking fluid levels, and reporting any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Compliance and Safety: Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safe and responsible operation of company vehicles at all times. Maintain a strong commitment to safety and adhere to established protocols for accident prevention and emergency procedures.
