REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate for this position should be a high school graduate who is physically fit and agile. Additionally, having a driver’s license and prior training in safety or security would be beneficial. Furthermore, participating in the department’s volunteer programs related to safety or security in your community would be an asset.

Community activism is a requirement for this position, as is the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Training will be provided in both theory and physical fitness, and applicants should be prepared to work on a 24/7 shift system.

Duties:

Crime prevention, stop and search, arrest, attend to complaints, maintain law and order and traffic control. Under supervision during training.

In order to be considered for this position, interested applicants must submit a copy of their matriculation certificate, an identity document, and a proof of residency. The certification of qualifications will only be required for shortlisted candidates.
