REQUIREMENTS : The ideal candidate must have at least a Grade 10 or equivalent qualification, with strong clerical skills and the ability to operate a computer Microsoft Office package. They should also have good knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service e.g. Batho Pele Principles, PFMA, Treasury regulations and financial policies and procedure.
Furthermore, they must be able to work well under pressure, be organized and have excellent problem solving skills. Finally, it would be advantageous if the candidate had experience in BAS, SAP and SRM as well as Budget process and Accounts Payable.
DUTIES: The person in this position will be responsible for registering and allocating RIs01s, requesting the BAS report on a daily/weekly and monthly basis, capturing expenditure against budget, compiling the Commitment Register, compiling and submitting signed monthly/Quarterly Recon to Head Office, compiling the Donations report, attending to audit request, and maintaining Basic Accounting records
