Thamo Mzobe, Regional Executive Manager for the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), conducted an unannounced visit to the Pietermaritzburg Local Office.

During her visit, Ms. Mzobe spoke with clients and officials at the office, taking the time to listen to their concerns and understand their perspectives. She also opened the suggestion boxes, taking the time to read the comments that had been submitted by clients.

Ms. Mzobe was very pleased with the level of engagement she witnessed, and was impressed with the dedication of the staff members at the office. She also took the opportunity to thank the clients for taking the time to provide their feedback, and encouraged them to continue to voice their thoughts and opinions. Ms.

Mzobe’s visit was a success, and her presence was greatly appreciated by the staff and clients of the Pietermaritzburg Local Office.

Sassa News: Sassa recently took a proactive approach to better serve their clients by opening suggestion boxes at various locations and inviting them to leave their comments and suggestions.

By doing this, Sassa was able to gain valuable insight into their clients’ needs and wants, as well as understand how to better cater to them.

As the comments and suggestions were read, Sassa took into account any and all constructive criticism and used it to further improve their services. This allowed for Sassa to form a more meaningful connection with their clients, as well as continue to provide them with the best possible service.
